Before you start any building or construction work, you’ll need to apply for a Construction Certificate (CC) following the approval of your Development Consent from your Local Authority (Council). The issue of a Construction Certificate confirms that the construction plans, and development specifications are consistent with the development consent, and comply with the Building Code of Australia/ National Construction Code and the Australian Standards.

We will ensure that the construction plans, and relevant documentation complies with the Building Code of Australia (BCA), associated Australian Standards and the Development Consent and that all conditions of the Development Consent have been met.
